NDYLIGHT, the lighting designers for the John Lewis Store at the
Trafford Centre, faced a difficult problem in the area under the large
glazed dome.
Some of the projectors fixed to the structure of the dome were to be
used for highlighting seasonal merchandise such as Christmas trees,
but these displays would not always be in the same position and it
would be difficult and expensive to gain access to the lights.
Maida Hot at NDYLIGHT specified 33 Director
DR2 lights fitted with
35W 10 degree CDM-R111 lamps.
