Daniel Katz has been dealing in European sculpture since 1968 and
has established an enviable reputation for handling only pieces of
the highest quality.
The lighting scheme was designed by Dr Stephen
Cannon-Brookes of Cannon-Brookes Lighting & Design, who specified
88 Director DR2 remote controlled spotlights.
The use of remote controlled
lights allows for the lighting to be adjusted quickly without the use
of ladders in an environment when any sort
accident could be expensive.
Remote controlled lights offer a second benefit: when lighting several
pieces of different material (eg marble and painted wood) it is useful
to be able to adjust the intensity of each light to optimise the overall
effect.
