RCL specified again in India's growing hotel market
02.03.2011 JW Marriott are set to open their newest hotel in India this April. The JW Marriott Chandigrah will be a spacious 165 room hotel complete with a conference centre, plus indoor and outdoor banquet spaces.
RCL were specified on the project by Light@Work Design Consultants (www.lightdesignconsultants.com). Kapil B. Sinai Surlakar - their Director of Design - is familiar with our products, having used them a number of times for ballrooms and banqueting hall applications.
"We have frequentley used [RCL spotlights] for hospitality projects as these spaces have flexible layouts based on the event being conducted and also have very high ceiling heights. To make aiming easy as per requirements arising out of flexible and multiple uses of the space for accent lighting, we selected RCL as an ideal choice with an uncomplicated IR technology for addressing the luminaire remotely to achieve the desired design results."
