RCL Lights Up Masterpiece

30.06.2010 June 2010 saw the opening of Masterpiece - an exciting new commercial art fair in the heart of London's Chelsea. Masterpiece has now established itself as a unique showcase for some of the most covetable objects in the world: traditional and modern, old and new, from the finest of fine and decorative art to the best of wines, classic cars, jewellery and contemporary design.

For a show like Masterpiece, lighting is of crucial importance which is why so many stands were using RCL's remote controlled spotlights. 318 RCL DR2 spotlights were in use and our clients had, typically, brought them in from their showrooms or galleries and installed them for the show. The ability to aim and dim the beam using an ultra-simple handheld remote control is greatly valued when works of art may well be sold during the show and replaced by others which need different lighting.  Another great benefit is the fact that the danger to people and objects that results from having to work off ladders is eliminated.
