Park Plaza Chooses RCL For Prestigious New Hotel In London

Located close to London's famous South Bank and opposite the palace of Westminster, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is currently the largest new hotel build in europe and the largest to open in london for many years. The hotel is planned to open early 2010 and will boast 1,021 guest rooms and 2,700 sq.m of flexable meeting space.
RCL has supplied 158 of its trimless version of the DR7 recessed projector for the impressive Westminster Ballroom which will be capable of accommodating up to 1,400 people Theatre Style. QR111 lamps will be used.
The remote controlled lights will be used to pin-spot tables during galas, weddings and other similar events. The simple 'Select and Direct' system will allow banqueting staff to light the tables without need for the technically trained staff, saving time and eliminating the usual health and safety issues related to focusing pin-spots at high levels.
