DR6 Retractable installed in The Court Room, Trinity House, London
21.09.2009 August 2009 saw the launch of a retractable version of the coving-mounted DR6 light. DR6(R) is invisible until power is applied. The lamp head then swings into view and the lamps switches on when it is fully extended. The head can be adjusted in pan and tilt and returns to the previous pan and tilt values when extended. The dimming also takes up the previous setting. Dimming via a central dimming system is possible.
12 DR6(R) units are installed in the historic Court Room at Trinity House. Trinity House was established by royal charter in 1514 and is responsible for lighthouses and navigation marks around the coasts of England and Wales. The Court Room is used for meetings and events.
