Director DR7s prove popular in J.W. Marriott's latest luxury hotel
23.02.2011 Ankara's newest luxury hotel opens in May boasting an upscale design with green credentials. The J.W. Marriott Ankara will have a unique design of vertical stone fins that will act as solar shading devices on the east and west facades. Inside the hotel will be just as impressive, with meeting facilities, shops and restaurants as well as four floors of spacious ballrooms.
104 RCL Director DR7s were specified by DPA Lighting (www.dpalighting.com), Oxfordshire for use in these ballrooms. Their low-profile design and flexibility of use made them the ideal choice for the project.
The J.W. Marriott Ankara is the latest in a long line of hotels across the world to take advantage of RCL's patented Select and Direct technology that allows individual spotlights to be controlled using a simple hand held remote.
