A Landmark for RCL
24.11.2008 The Landmark Hotel (www.landmarkhotel.co.uk) approached RCL in September for a solution for its new ballroom. The management of the Landmark decided to restore a large ballroom that had some years ago been turned into smaller rooms within the hotel. The result is a beautiful, classic ballroom with large full height windows and pewter chandeliers.
Local AV company, Portfolio Creations, was contracted to install and supply the audio visual components, including 84 RCL DR2 pin-spots, to enable staff to set table lighting for events efficiently and safely. The challenge was to install them in a way that didn't detract from the beautifully ornate ceiling. This was done by using a cleverly devised series of mounting beams which blend into the edges of the room.
