Asia Still Flying Despite "Crunch"
15.12.2008
Sales of RCL in the Asia region have not slowed down despite the world economic crisis and are actually up against last year's figures. Over the last quarter, RCL has supplied luminaires to projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and China.
The Intercontinental Bangkok, the Golden Leaf restaurant at the Conrad Hong Kong and the Jumeirah Hantang Xintiandi (the first Jumeirah hotel in China) are just a few of the high profile projects RCL has worked on over the past few months. If you have any Asia projects you wish to discuss, please contact our General Manager for RCL Asia, Jason Cheng, at jasoncheng@rclighting.com or on +852 9349 3904

Paul Fenton, our current UK Sales Manager, has stepped forward to take up the challenge of International Sales. Paul will also be representing RCL's sister company, Precision Lighting (www.precisionlighting.co.uk), on a global level. RCL Rocks at the O2
08.12.2008
Lighting desighner David Atkinson of David Atkinson Lighting Design (www.dald.co.uk) recently specified 56 RCL Director DR2 spotlights for the British Music Experience (www.britishmusicexperience.com), a permanent exhibition at the O2 Centre, charting the different music genres of British culture. These lights were supplied via A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd. (www.acspecialprojects.com)
The DR2 projectors were supplied in hook lamp versions and will be controlled via DMX using a standard RJ45 connection. They will be used in the Event Area as general lighting and as part of the lighting for the show.
The exhibition is due to open in spring 2009.
