Remote Controlled Lighting Ltd is the only company in the world to specialise in the design and manufacture of low cost remote controlled spotlights. We supplied our first project in August 2002. Since then we have shipped more than 25,000 lights, 68% of which have been exported with Asia (24%) and Europe (23%) being our largest markets outside the UK. Sales in the year to 31st August 2008 will exceed £1.2m, a 50% increase on the previous year.

RCL's products are specified when there is a need to adjust the aiming, dimming (or both) of narrow beam spotlights which can only be reached using mechanical hoists, scaffolding or ladders. These access methods require trained staff, are expensive in terms of time and money, and involve significant health and safety issues. RCL's technology allows non-technical staff at floor level to select, aim and dim any one of a large number of spotlights quickly and easily. This makes them ideal for use in:

  › Hospitality - hotel ballrooms and banqueting venues

  › Art - Museums, showrooms and galleries

  › Retail - especially in vitrines

RCL's technology is protected by patent and we devote more than 5% of turnover to research and development aimed at improving and extending our product range.
